The Piano Safari Friends method uses:

  • Follow the leader pieces to establish pitch and pulse, develop technique, and enhance concentration. Students learn through audio tracks and by imitating the teacher.

  • Rote pieces to play more complex pieces, develop musical skills, and memorize patterns. Students use audio tracks, teacher imitation, and reminder videos for practice.

  • Improvisation pieces to foster creativity and explore new sounds, learned through accompaniment and piano exploration.

  • Technique exercises to master basic piano motions, learned by imitating the teacher's short phrases.

  • Reading exercises to teach tracking, identify rhythms, and reinforce finger numbers. Students identify animal rhythms and read by finger numbers.

  • Songs to experience meter and sing along, learned by moving and singing with the teacher and audio tracks.

  • Activities to listen to classical music and engage playfully with concepts.
